Prince is back home

5:45 am H requested a bathroom pass then out to the garage. I went back to sleep till her breakfast time. The kittens came for their offal too. I did some quick marketing before heading out the door to head west to pick up the dental patient. As I got close to Airdrie the sky showed some blue and sunshine which has been hidden for so long. However prior to this I arranged to meet Lori B at the mall. We have not had a visit in forever and long overdue. Before our meet I quickly did my returns at Homesense then stopped at Saje quick as she had a delay. H's dog food text came that it was on its way!! Yikes I am always the last delivery but not today. The driver was contacted and he kindly put it in the freezer. Another great service provided by this dog food company. We met and enjoyed a catchup over a chicken pita.

We could easily have kept going but I headed to pick up Pepper at 2. B loaded him up and we were back at the ranch by 3 to the awaiting ladies who were happy he was home. I did some computer work then went and let them all out into the winter pasture at 4 and grabbed KD's new flysheet that gave her all the welts. I tossed it in the washer and hauled the shelf over to the back deck. Feed was soaked for Bird. I then worked on computer stuff.

my paint packages delivered yesterday were opened

The prince arrives home tonight 2 days later then normal but this is all part of how he will get the long weekend off to do running with the bulls. He will have another 9 day stretch next month too. The temperature is rising to 27, the wind is blowing but the smoke is minimal. I had chili for supper, only 3 bowls to go :) It is the pot that lasts a week.

B, D and C arrived after 7, she mixed the food and fed Bird. We gave Pepper his meds, I sorted Switch over to diet pen while B fed roo and then put her in to then lunged Bird. I had Dave help me move the coffee table to the garage then did poop scoop and watering planters and garden as they headed for home at 8. 

Tutorial and blog update before hitting the shower then heading to bed to watch Blindspot. There was almost a sunset tonight with the less smoke and it looks to be almost full moon. S arrived home after his extended stint just before 11 and soon sound asleep. I finished my episode and lights out.
