Warm fall day

B was here at 7:30. Looks like we will have a new morning routine. She feeds Cooper, soaks Bird's food and makes her coffee. Then she sets off for work. Plant care was on my list. S ran Matt's truck back. The battery would not charge so will get new one in town later. While S had his zoom exercise class I wrote a Hometalk post for the bedroom suite.

THIS FACE!!! XOXO

She is 4 months old today, time is going too fast little one

After lunch, S was off to help tear down at rodeo grounds. They are building a whole new announcers booth with fancy suites etc before next year. He dropped the new gate at south paddock on his way out. I worked on accounting. The 15 degree full sunshine lured me out to walk the dogs. B wanted me to check her horses shoes - all good. Back at the house I hauled out cushions and sat on the deck with a cold pop. Inside I wrote the floral cake plate tutorial. Then it was posted, emailed and added to spreadsheets where needed.

S was back from town around 4:30. I got busy cooking the HF meal chicken corn chowder. We ate leaving B's for her when she arrived around 7:30. She returned the saddle and bridle after work. In the meantime the dogs barked. Upon letting H out I saw a coyote right close to east paddock. S hurried to get his gun while Cooper ran it farther east. S took a shot and both dogs beelined it. Cooper straight to the house. Harley to the north. However when I went to let her in back door no luck. S and I went out calling and looking. Turns out she looped around back and took sanctuary in the shop.

My cold continues to worsen. The cough/sore throat getting sorer. I took a covid test to be sure. It was negative. B fed Bird in the dark then she and Cooper were off south after 8. Hot tub soak, shower and watching the last half of Reptile rounded out our night.
