Oyen bound

We were up early - after 6 am. S turned the cat house light on in the shop and filled food. The last of the items were loaded that were needed for the bison cull. Har was loaded up along with our bags and we were out of the yard by 7:30. A stop at Tim's for a hot tea and breakfast sandwiches for the driver. The roads were very icy and rough in many areas. Thanks to a very safe driver we arrived at Oyen early 10:15. We took our bags and Harley in, Mom jumped in with us and we headed in to Rita's funeral.

It was a lovely service. This was followed by a packed luncheon at the school. It was a large turnout for both. Rita was loved by many.

This is Maxly - Lynda's baby a few days older then Renn

We dropped Vance and Stacie at their house after. Fuel and salt pick up for us. Mom grabbed a few groceries before we headed back to Mom's. A hot tea and dogs let out. Clover is staying there as well as usual Tim. It was then back to town to see Dad's new digs. The room was a bit "better" than I saw in video and pics from Amanda. It is however too small to have any chairs in it to visit. I organized his photos putting on the wall as his photo board cannot hang on the walls as no space. I helped him with supper as Sheldon visited with many residents he knew. Supper went very well. Once back at his room he was sound asleep.

Mom, S and I headed to the Chinese restaurant for supper. S preordered our choices. Vance met us there. It was quite tasty. THANKS Mom for supper. we were not home long when Dale drove out to visit. Vance was not long behind him. We had a great evening of visiting. Everyone headed home or to bed at midnight.
