Thanksgiving holiday Monday

Happy Thanksgiving day all. After a breakfast of coffee, toast and cheese scrambled eggs we loaded up to head west. I dropped boxes at the gate as we passed thru at 11. The fall colors were mainly yellow as we drove to Bragg Creek. A short walk to the river in the sunshine felt great.

The tour continued on to show old Britt’s foothills hideaway. We stopped quick at the top then continued to view from the lower vantage point. We also had a refreshing beverage S had packed. Next stop was Granary Road. Well be darned, Granary Road was closed on Mondays. Looks like a late lunch would be had back at our place. We arrived just before 2:30. Thankful for lots of leftovers making for an easy meal. Ma and Pa K headed east just after 3.

S lowered the tank and puts plugs back in. I did some quick marketing. Britt and Dave arrived before 3:30 to have their share of leftovers. It is a beautiful 26 degree day, October 26, who knew. Time to work on the blog on the deck. They joined us on the deck to talk new car for B again. Sharon and Darren popped out to feed their horses. They too joined us on the deck for a cold beer.

After they left Britt cooked the last HF meal of the box. It was a tasty tilapia poke bowl. I generously donated my cucumber and red pepper share to the other 3 diners. Dave got a message that the track training time was now 5-9 am tomorrow morning. This changed all his plans for having 2 days off. He loaded up some frozen goods while B fed Bird. Then they were off heading to Grady's. Dave would get his bag and make the 5 hour trek north to be up and at track by 5 am. S has caught my cold, boo. He and I went for a hot tub soak. It was yet another starry sky. This time S saw a shooting star! We started a new show called Car Masters. It is an cool car creation watch.
