B starts week off work vacation

I was awoken last night just before 1 with the yipping and yapping of the coyote pack. I got up to check and wouldn't you know it J was sitting by the front door wanting to dart inside. I then laid awake for a couple hours but I did have some good ideas I jotted down before falling back asleep ;)

After my usual start to the day I wrote a tutorial for the shelving unit picked up yesterday and finished the dresser tutorial to be shared later in the week with my iced coffee. Kombucha was up next with a new batch made and 8 bottles of ginger pomegranate bottled. I finished in time to catch the news with my bowl of coleslaw.

The day is much cooler around 20 but so hazy. B and I were going to go riding in mountains today but of course that was cancelled with this air quality. Good day to catch up more tutorial and computer work sharing the latest tut. I also staged the mirror for a few pics.

I was talking to Mom on the phone for the third time today when the Fedex truck came thru the gate. I opened the yard gate for him to drop my paint parcel with Britt and Cooper following right behind him at 2. She mixed up the food then was off to clean the barn!! I went and fed  kitties and hauled the blue bed frame back to the garage. I gave it a clean then found bolts to fit but rats no nuts to fit. Guess I will see if it fits Dad's bed first then get some in the Hat.

Next I prepped a bag to take to the city tomorrow to repair Shaina's whoops on a wood table leaving plants on top that caused water damage. Sander, paper, steel wool and some hemp oil were bagged up. A clean sheet was put in the car as Harley has her chiro appointment in the city at 1 which is why I will be able to stop and help Shaina. Plus she has offered lunch in exchange for it, heck ya!

watch the video of her work

I popped out to see B's liberty work with Roo after she hosed and harrowed the arena. Nice work B. 5 drops of rain came down briefly then was gone.

I opened my paint parcel to reveal new fall colors and the most lovely smelling wax. B then fed the horses and put Pepper and Bird in the septic paddock to eat some of the crazy grass in there while she held Harley and I scrubbed her up. Wouldn't you know it her hitch seems to have eased. Was it the stretches? massage B gave her? Who knows but I will still take her to see the chiro guy in the city tomorrow.

B and I came in for chili after I fed H. She put the horses back and headed home before 6. I wrote a post for the stenciled shelf on Hometalk. Please click on these Hometalk links as I get $$ for every click, it is not much but it adds up and makes my time spent doing them worth it. As I finished it up before 7:30 it finally started to RAIN!! I am so happy. I closed up the garage up hoping it pours all night but it was short lived ;( After finishing computer work I headed to bed to watch Blindspot shutting it off early around 9:30!
