I have found some more good no till garden videos that have me learning. I sketched out a garden plan and shared details with the Prince who was perusing the net.
It looked warm and partially sunny so we headed outside. It was not warm having a cold breeze blowing, brrr. I started trimming trees while S emptied the fuel slip tank. The trees looked so much better but we have so many. S went in after 12 and made tuna sandwiches and had a cold beer waiting for when I came in to join him. He then hit big brown for a nap while I watched more tree trimming and garden videos on YouTube. I also got Sunday's blog finished up and posted.
We both headed back out after 2. S was off to push the old hay off the winter pasture and I to continue tree trimming. It seemed colder and windier out now. Just before 3 Harley and I rushed inside as rain started Sadly it did not last long.
H and I headed back out walking to the pit and back. I picked rocks along the south side on the way back then continued our tree trimming. S was back and hooked up the box grader. He did the road and the yard. It looks great all freshly graded. Again the weather got worse so in we came. Actual rain started to come down as we started the news. It turned into graupel which covered the ground and windows. The horses were a bit befuddled as they tried to get thru winter pasture gate then just hunkered down and ate.
After our day in the yard it was time for a soak. However it was ugly out so in the soaker tub it was. We had our evening frozen fruit yogurt bowl early while we soaked.
The precipitation ended but the wind remained. It was ugly when Britt was out at her new usual 7:30. She let them in the winter pasture, fed and headed home in 1/2 hour. Flames game was on the bedroom TV while S perused his phone and I watched a ton more gardening videos then read. The Flames won in OT.
