Headache ruins my day

Awoke to wind and Mr J still howling about the inclimate weather. This was 5:50 and it woke H so I sent her out then around to the garage seeing there were puddles and damp from the overnight rain. I went back to bed till the usual feeding time. I had a couple caps while getting a bit of marketing underway but a headache and feeling sick plagued my day.

Craig and his Dad were out by 10 to work on the trailer floor as I was heading out to work on the vanity. I had shared the photo of the coffee table set on my personal page before heading out and within 10 minutes had 2 parties interested. One was my friend Coreena who text, the other another friend who saw it on my page and commented before her but I did not get alerted to it. 

As I worked on the vanity Coreena checked with her husband and confirmed they would like them. How I wish all my pieces sold that fast ;) I took a break from the vanity to make the horse feed and come in for a break.

Craig finished up the floor and was ready to park the trailer after 1 as Britt and Cooper arrived. She was off to catch Bird and Craig's dad directed him back while I scooped poop. Before 2 they were parked and off to town to celebrate Archie's 5th birthday!!

B rode Bird as I checked the trailer for another set of coffee/end tables to measure and snap a pic. The second friend needed measurements for both sets I have. I checked the rain gauge there and it says 4/10ths in last 24 hours. I will take it. I put the water on willow.

B then caught Roo, I caught Switch and she and I took them out for a conditioning ride. Poor Cooper had to stay back as he is all gimped up after his winery escapade and was wearing his back on track blanket. He did come along when we trotted the winter paddock 2 loops as did the kittens. So funny these 2, then they catch up and pant like a mini tiger. What a motley crew we have.

Back in the barn to untack and tweak feet, Shaina arrived home from her birthday celebrations after 3:30. The horses were let go and B fed the other 2 then she and Coop were off at 4. I had put water on my peonies for a bit then got back to blog catch up. Shaina started some laundry then hit the tub to soak. I put on burger to make a pot of chili for supper seeing today was pretty slim pickins. My headache continues which makes for a less calorie day.

The forecast rain at 2 onward has yet to arrive. It was nice riding as cloud cover made it cooler. It says again it is 19 but without sun never feels that warm. Shaina and I enjoyed our chili bowls, she kindly tidied up then prepped to run to town for groceries. I soaked in a hot tub after supper to help with headache but no luck. I crawled into bed hoping to watch an episode of This Is Us. The rain forecast for 8 arrived but ended up only 8 drops. Shaina was back with her groceries and off to her room. I shut of the TV and tried to get some sleep.
