New skates?

Meditation and coffee start, pet care and computer next. I prepped things to go to the city later and tried to organize Creative Moments draw pickup, mirrors, marketing etc. S did more utilities research then took H out for a walk at 11 in the bright sunshine. I was on hold trying to book the hotel and spa for part of our trip.

I mixed up Bird's food. S watched her eat once back from the pack walk. He treated the others to oats too. I successfully booked our first resort stay on the island. Tigh-Na-Mara has been recommended to us a few times over Kingfisher so giving it a try. Now to get our spa day there booked. I put the bacon in and sliced tomatoes. Lunch is toasted bacon tomato and mushroom soup. Yum right?

I was off to town at 12:30. First stop was to pick up my new progressive lens glasses and get my new reading ones adjusted. A library book was picked up next. My massage followed arriving early to fill out paperwork as a new place. This girl was amazing at finding all the knots and releasing them. I left feeling great.

Before heading to the city I grabbed an ice cap. It was now PLUS 6 so felt refreshing. I did a couple returns at Winners then picked some new things at HomeSense. S had arrived in the city soon after me hitting SportChek on the hunt for new skates. I waited outside the store till he was done then we made out way to Mercedes by the airport. I parked the car and jumped in the Jeep. We headed to the airport to pick up Miss Shaina at 5 who arrived safely home. Back at the car a few minutes alter she was off for home and us Cross Iron mall.

The skate search continued with a fit machine and try ons. Skates are crazy priced starting at about $200 and up to $1300 WITHOUT blades. I walked a bit in the mall then back. S put a pair on hold to think about. We went and had supper at Milestones. Yummy salads with wings to start.

Back at the car we zipped thru Tim's for a chai for the ride home. We looped thru town on the way home. The car got a well deserved shower. We pulled into the garage just before 9. S raced to TV room to watch is Flames. I took H out for a pee then caught up todays blog. I also wrote a Hometalk post for the black plant pot. In bed I watched some You then read some Spare. S read a bit and off to sleep.
