Brr -15 again upon waking with an over cast day ahead. We had our coffee and morning meditation at 9 then I hurriedly got ready and off to town after feeding H for my 10 am facial appointment. S and H stayed home to go for a walk and relax for the morning. After my appointment I went to pick up my glasses which they said were ready only to have them not be. Time for a tea and Boston cream, a quick return at Shoppers, pick up a desk then I was off to Sagewood before noon.
Dad and I walked to his hair washing appointment then had lunch in the dining room. He was getting tired so I helped him into is wheelchair and took him to the quiet TV room for a nap in his chair. The glasses were now ready so I stopped to grab them before heading home. This was the reading glasses the gal broke adjusting, the progressives are still being made.
Back at the ranch before 1:30 S was relaxing in big brown. The sun was now trying to peek thru and it was warming up. I did accounting and more family tree research. I have found some unique relatives with last name Pretty Striped Snake and Otter Hat.
B and Cooper surprised us again with a visit before 3. She went and fed Bird after removing her blanket on the way in and gave her a brush. She also took off Timba's too seeing it is now -1! We had a visit about her new car that she is to test drive Friday as well as doing repairs to her blue car. She and Coop headed home after 4:30.
S ran to town before 5:30 to do a bank deposit and pick up Chinese food for supper. It was full on sunshine now and 0 out and I could see lots of dog hair and fluff so ran the vacuum around. S was back by 6 for our Chinese supper which was sadly a bit dry. First and last order from J&J Kitchen although I did a take out dinner once that was good.
I went all the way back to my 8th great grandparents on my Swedish side and still have more to go!! It is very unique how everyone was designated in the 1700's by who their father was. I would be Lee Ann Fredericksson and my girls would all be last name Sheldonsdotter! I finally shut it down after 11:30 going to bed to read for a bit. S was there reading but just shut out the light so I switched to Next in Fashion watching til 1 am as the wind picked up like crazy.
