Another great OHV trail day

I woke early but found Chuck and Deb already up and hooking up their trailer and loading up their razor. S rousted a bit later and got coffee brewing. Things were packed and set at the door with some loaded and most ready to go by 9. Mom popped out to join us for a coffee and visit before we headed out at 10.

We arrived at McLean and chose our site and set up. After leaving the pups in the A/C we set out on a long 5 hour 26 mile long adventure around 1. The trails were not as muddy as we expected after Monday’s rain but it was not bad for dust. There were some areas we reversed our plans as not wanting to have any “troubles”.

a hot shower feels so good after a dusty smoky day

as does maple cream whiskey on ice

Back at camp a potato/carrot pack was made up and put on the fire that S started to keep the mozzies away. Chuck cooked up the pork chops we brought along on his fancy black stone along with the mac salad too we had a delicious supper. Time was enjoyed around the campfire then a nice hot shower that felt so good after the dusty day. Once everyone was showered up we continued the visit inside sipping on some cream maple whiskey. What a lovely day in a beautiful part of our world. THANKS Schmitt’s for the great camp out. Before falling asleep S and I watched a bit of Netflix.

Did you check out Stampede 2022 post I finally got up as well as some new pictures on the hay day.
