Almost an inch rainy day

No idea why H is back to her pre 7 am wakeup but once back to her kennel I was able to fall asleep again. It was another ground hogs day when I awoke heading out to take the blankets and masks off before the rain started at 9 am. S came out and took off Peppers then made coffee. I started washing the rest of the blankets too. Schmitt's were in for coffee, raisin toast and a visit on this rainy relaxing day.

I made a pot of hamburger soup for lunch. Schmitt's ran to town late morning after our visit and plan to go camping tomorrow. Mom and Dad arrived first followed by Britt. Seeing it was now 1:30 we started to eat with Chuck and Debby returning to get their bowl too. B fed horses then headed home.

We all visited then once the rain let up S checked the gauge that showed 8.5/10th so far. We all headed out to start the bale unloading setup. Mom and Dad headed back to town around 4:30 and we got the bale elevator moving. After we got the small trailer unloaded, had a beer break we then decided to unload the dump trailer too.

We finished it all up before 6 then the fellows unhooked the truck and hooked to the small trailer and loaded the ranger. THANK YOU SCHMITT"S!!!! I gave Pepper some bute while Deb hit the shower. It rained another 1/10th while we were unloading for almost an inch total.

I then jumped in the shower quick. Deb made bean dip and guacamole for supper while I made a macaroni salad to take camping. After washing up the dishes and visiting the fellows went to load fire wood, Deb to prep trailer and I to pack up snacks and try and catch up blog. There was also accounting and things I needed to do so the rest went to have a hot tub. They wrapped it up after 10 and off to bed. S read online and watched sports and I crawled in to watch some Netflix after packing my bag. I added more photos to last Monday, check it out!!
