S tossed poop out of the trailer and we loaded the bedroom suite I painted as we are now contracted to deliver it to the lady downtown Calgary. A cooler was tossed in for Costco and we were off after 2 pm. First stop was in a parking lot to meet a guy about tires for Kaylin's escape. They looked great and were loaded up and on our way downtown Calgary. We had the furniture unloaded into the ladies garage in short order even if it did start to sprinkle just as we were unloading. Good thing the trailer has loads of blankets which worked great to cover as we moved the pieces in.
Next it was a detour thru the city and during rush hour to next stop; a truck accessory place. However once we got there the piece was not $100 off as quoted so S passed on it. I text Dale who can order this piece for a much better deal. Now we were off to Airdrie to a thrift store to pick up a bed frame I won in an auction.
After we had it loaded it was on to Costco for a quick trip for frozen items and S did a few returns. Pushing out time frame for a movie starting at 7:30 and it was now almost 6:30 we found a parking spot in a field near Cross Iron and walked to the theater. We secured our seats and hurried next door to Milestones to eat quick. Would you believe Sheldon looked a few tables over after we were seated to see Joeleen and Todd!! They joined us for a quick catch up over our supper. It was short but so good to see them.
Now to the movie; Rocketman. making it just in time as previews finished up. It was a good show, wow what a life Elton John has had. After the movie we stopped to visit with Britt and Dave for about an hour before heading home, unloading the cooler for S and running to give Bird her gastro for me after getting home at midnight.
