Day 693 actually turned out warm ending up a high of plus 12. My day was not as rosy. Waiting for Britt I decided to unload the dresser myself as I was picking up another item today. Balancing the large dresser thru small areas found it bumping one of the shaky to stat with saw horses and in slow motion I could see the bottom of the white hutch go smashing to the floor. I struggled to right it but needed Britt to help. It was damaged in many places after hitting door first and landing on top of metal jacks. I had her put out the pets as all was left on the floor and we headed to town! How frustrating as I only had the detailing to do and it was done :-(
Work was fairly quiet but I did win a free coffee with my Tim chai and Shaina had sent me a lovely quote. Those were my daily highlights thank goodness. The afternoon required me to stay for a teleconference meeting but as soon as it was over at 2:30 I headed home to assess the damage.

The bent door hinges required Sheldon's advice so I left it and put a 2nd coat on the top half.
Britt walked the pets when home off the bus and once Sheldon arrived home at 5 he helped me straighten the hinges while I wood filled many of the areas. I will let dry good, sand and see what I have.

Sheldon quickly scooped some dog dung before getting to his candy crush which kept him busy during and after supper too :-) I updated blog, bath and bed to read!
I did acquire another project today too ... I have plans
