680 - survived the flu bug

Day 680 was a sleepless night for me. Think everyone else did ok :-) Plans were messed up for the morning as Britt had a doctor appointment since her throat is still sore at 9. Sheldon had worked around taking her since I was down and out but I suggested to her she get a ride in with her friend Grady and get dropped early at doctor and walk to school and if I felt better I could take her,she assumed the plan was I could take her! so after waking her at 7:30 and finding this new plan I did pull on sweats and ran her in. We stopped for a hot tea to help us both.

It seems her left ear and tonsil are still swollen so she was swabbed again and has a possible prescription to fill if still bad in 48 hours. She also seems to be zinc deficient via her nail beds which her cosmo teacher noticed. She will go for blood tests soon but today had to get to school for 2 tests.

After I dropped her at school and I headed home put my pj's back on and crawled into bed. By noon I was finally feeling hungry so tried some of Sheldon's goulash. Shaina and I skyped around 1:30 (3:30 am in Thailand) after she got home from another night of fun. She said she was undefeated arm wrestle champion last night winning 10 in a row (a free drink per win too which she claims she shared with her friends HA) but tonight she was beat once. The tour is over and the girls are now on their own touring. They are off to krabi railay beach and then to koh phi phi and then she booked plane back to Bangkok for her flight back to Australia next Thursday. Below she rides a wee elephant!
Amanda text to see how I was, she said Asher had the runs yesterday and then both her and Craig woke up sick in the night. Sharon had this yucky flu on the w/e. I sure hope the rest don't get it.

The afternoon went fast and once. Sheldon got home he started the skid steer to plow the driveway. Britt stayed in after school to work. Funny thing, I saw the horses running to the fence so went to look, here Sheldon was stuck in the ditch with the skid steer. They found it entertaining as did I. Soon he came to the house requiring me and the truck to pull him out. Success with my great skills of unsticking vehicles then back tot he warm house for me while he continued to plow out the road.

what is he doing, he has no bale

For supper I was able to eat half an avocado and Sheldon ate up some left overs. Britt was done work at 8 so he ran in to get her after putting the bale out for the horses.  He chose to sleep in the spare room again to avoid any lingering germs and hit the sheets early by 9:30! I watched a few of my PVR shows finally catching up on most. And I did the Glam Glow mask sample Kaylin got me!
Her and Aaron were doing one each at the same time! :-)
