Day 674 is March 1st already, again I ponder where the time has gone. Shaina is half done her trip, amazing.
Anyway it was a golden Friday, Sheldon's last one to be exact. He and Britt were up and off by 8:30 as he kindly dropped her at school; avoiding the early bus and then going to his 9 am massage. He spent time running errands after getting coco food and her metamucil and himself truck parts and washing it. Me, I spent cleaning and laundry as usual Friday events, and checking out my new treasures.
He was home by 11:30 and after I created an amazingly delicious strawberry avocado salad for lunch we were off to Standard. I had flip flopped on buying a hutch and an oak dresser from a gal out there but decided to go get them. They are pieces that have potential for sure.
hard to see but this plane is pulling a white missile type thing all around our place, no idea what it actually is
We grabbed tims and filled with diesel on the way. After loading up we were back at the ranch before 2 and had them unloaded in the garage. It was time to get stuff together and the horses loaded as we are going to RJ's free riding night from 4-7.
Britt was home via the bus about quarter after 4 and after she changed we all jumped in and were off. It was a beautiful plus 6 sunny day. Lesley met us with two of her steads. A few others showed up too but for the most part it was a private ride. Later after riding Bird successfully Britt jumped on Enrique at Lesleys offer. All went well until a scary blue barrel caused chaos and the next thing I saw was Britt taking the ejector seat ride coming down in a pile by the scary blue barrel. Enrique continued to buck like a Calgary Stampede pony for a fe minutes. He and I had a little visit about scary barrels big and small (crinkly tin beer cans) and he decided he would try it again. He and Brittany continued around the arena till rides end.
around 7:30 we loaded up and back home to the ranch for hot baths all around!
