686 - chalk paint metal and new Pope

Day 686 the new Pope Francis was elected. Sheldon left a bit earlier again today saying goodbye at 4:52.. far to early for this cat to be awake! Britt and I were off to school and work.
Back home after lunch I moved the purchases from yesterday into the garage out of my car. Today it gorgeous, sunny and had a high of 11 but they forecast the next 3-4 days cold and snowy.. grrr. I also painted up the little lamp but again not sure I like it. This seems to be my MO in life, always second guessing my color choices and work. I did not seal it but put it together and like the other projects see how I feel in a bit of time.

After school Britt was dropped of by Grady. She took the dogs for a walk then tacked up horses so her and I could go for a ride.

Sheldon stopped to pick up more coffee and end tables for my project list on his way home. He arrived just as we were mounting up and heading out. It was a nice but melting snow ride however that worked in our favor for slowing down the fresh horses.

Flames game held Sheldon's attention after supper while I showered up and crawled into bed to read my book "Still Alice". It is getting better but not a captivating book by any means. I do worry I may have Alzheimer's though while reading it. We did quickly move int he dresser and bottom of hutch during a commercial as they are forecasting cold and snow to hit for next few days :-(

Tonight Shaina will be flying back to Australia. her time in Thailand is over, I am sure she found it went just as fast as I did. She arrives on Friday and plays her first polocrosse tournament the next morning!
