Yet another hot one

The morning changed up a bit with medicine needing to be administered to Switch. Her nasal discharge is way worse today in color and amount and she has coated her legs and belly in it too poor girl. I decided to keep her and Roo separate from the others so opened the house paddock for them and the far paddock for the other 3. I also fetched a warm cloth and wiped her nose. The dogs/cats were fed and water started on the back flower bed.

S made coffee and was watching from the deck till I came in to join him for one. The wind picked up as the heat increased but it felt cooler then 26 so we hit the hot tub for a morning soak. I showered up and got on to computer work. I finished the back to school stool tutorial and shared/sent to appropriate places.

Lunch was roast beef sandwiches and salad, perfect on this hazy dreary windy day. S did his usual online news and reading and after lunch was introduced to an online auction site Glen and Roxie were going to to check out a motorhome. This had him hooked for the rest of the afternoon. In case they stopped after viewing I scrubbed bathrooms quick and the kitchen then staged the vase.

S helped vacuum as I got snacks prepped and spot washed the floor just in time for them to arrive before 3. We had a great visit then they were off by 5 and we headed to town to the AG/Rodeo BBQ. After eating S joined in a nail pounding game before we made our way home after 7. A quick stop to pick up a bug trap and back to the ranch.

Back home before 8 it was still 29 degrees. I mixed up 4 tubs of food with S helping me sort and feed horses (switch's evening meds are in her feed). They were then all put in evening pens and I sprinkled hay in fat pen with some apples. S was off to watch baseball in bed while I worked on blog posts followed by finishing season 2 of The Wilds and starting Making the Cut.
