Foggy day

A restless sleep for me only to see a thick fog upon waking, it was cool out as well. I got Switch medicated fairly fast today after a little jaunt to catch her then in to feed dogs. S had coffee made when I was back in and got busy with computer work. The fog burned off and it heated up. S and I were working on cutting the dresser base square when Britt and Dave popped out at 11:30 bringing us an iced coffee. THANKS!! They got home from the east coast at 4 am last night after a great trip. They did not stay long with Dave giving us a quick update while B did a few things then off for home to do laundry and catch up on rest as B is sick.

I added wood filler and left to dry.

I decided to update the vase base with a design finally choosing a floral silk screen pattern. I painted this after our leftover lunch. S took H out for a bath and I vacuumed out her kennel and added clean bedding. He was then off in the ranger to do a gopher patrol and grab a couple foxtail areas in the now 28 heat. I got busy updating blog then onto vacuuming the main floor to pick up more dog hair.

Back from his ride S did some online stuff while I tried to create a tile I had ordered on Etsy but there were some sticking issues. UGH!! I washed up the stencil and when dry tried a different product; wood filler. In the meantime S and I played crib. When the game ended S ran over to Matt's to solve an electrical issue on his RV, I fed H then prepped veggies for supper. Once back S cooked the fish Papa caught awhile back and I the veggies, yum. We finished up another game then S got the fireball to head to town before 7. Britt and Dave were back out just as we were heading out. 

S tried Can Tire and Peavy Mart with no luck for the part so we got our favorite banana split blizzards and headed home. As we passed B she turned around to wish S luck tomorrow. A fellow was parking his trailer in our trees at the gate after vehicle issues. I picked up plastic pieces from a crash with a deer hit at the approach a few days back too.

Back at the house we had another game of crib followed by a last hot tub for a couple weeks for S. After our quick rinse we finished the movie Uncharted then started documentary The Secret Life of a Cruise which answers allot of behind the scenes of cruse life. We shut it off after a bit hoping to get some sleep but around 11  huge wind storm blew thru moving chairs across the desk with lightening in the distance. At midnight I went out and opened the gate so the girls could have shelter if the storm continued thru the night as forecast. Then we started the show again with S falling asleep with me ticking his back so I switched to Making the Cut till after 1:30 am, 5 am wakeup is going to be a doozy.
