Today is our last camping day here ;( I let H out to pee and eat and watch squirrels. It seemed to have rained over night (at home we had 3/10ths) and quite brisk out. Sun was off and on and mostly overcast. Mom text that Dad has covid again ;(
After our yogurt and berry breakfast (I added cheerios to S's bowl) we took H on a short walk then loaded her up and off to find a hiking trail called flowing water. It was the best trail with a beautiful blue green river alongside. At the end of the trail we made out own to try and find the dam but needed to cross a bridge. On our hike back to the truck we looked thru more of willow rock campground where there are some nice sites but no services and most are along the highway noise.
Having hiked 3+ miles we loaded up and drove to the dam and hiked a short walk to the backside. S and H even went to the bottom to get a drink before we loaded up and back to pack up the trailer. We cooked up a hotdog and got underway packing up. We have a good system and getting back in the swing of it all. Last stop after hooking up was to dump the tanks and by 2 we were on the road east.
Today is Lexi's 10th birthday with quite a party. She got all kinds of new toys and treats to celebrate her big day.
It is 45 minutes to Cole's where we were invited to stop for a belated birthday drink. Chicken wings and veggie platter were enjoyed with a refreshing beverage or tow that turned into us getting Harley out to play with Charlie and Jimmy which led to the rest of the day and into the early morning visiting, laughing and catching up around a fire moving to the kitchen and finally at 3 am heading to bed in the trailer S parked earlier in the evening.

Be sure to go back last 2 days ( hiking day and brewery tour) as I forgot to add Sheldon's photos he took and submitted for the blog :)
