So my sleep in day did not go as planned, Harley wanted to go out at 4:30 am which I thought would add to the sleep in probability putting her in the garage. However the front door opened at 7:20 with Cooper being dropped off for his doggy day care for next 3 days. Shaina was up within half an hour grinding fresh coffee for her 8 am meeting. Coop did jump right into bed with me and laid quiet through it all then we got up when H pawed at 8:30 to be fed.
I grabbed a coffee after feeding her and letting them out on guard after the neighbors 3 dogs were in the yard again. I rousted S who was to drive Shaina to town to get her jeep left at the gym after 9 then she was off to the city. He let the cats out before going and grabbed some groceries and back in not long. A paint parcel was delivered. I caught up computer work while he was in big brown and soon sleeping.
new items and colors arrived
He did wake from his nap to make grilled cheese for us for lunch then he was off to the couch which of course took him down again. I did some computing then decided to head out in the blustery yet sunny day to feed the horses. I put a kibble search out to keep the dogs busy but spent time running between them and the horses shooing off the dam magpies and back to the horses were Pepper likes to eats Bird's food when he is done. I also fitted boots on Switch to confirm an order, gave Biebs some black licorice and saw his leg would was crusty. I caught him and hosed it to raw to help healing and let him go.
Now to sand the drawer fronts and haul the whole dresser out to sand the sides. S woke and filled a mouse hole on the garage door and went and set his fox trap and move it to a new location. Then he was back in the warm house to hit the couch for yet another rest. That hockey game really drained him :)
We prepped tacos for supper. I wrote a Hometalk post for the last metallic vase with a cup of tea. Shaina was back home before 7 but headed to her suite. S drew up a hot bath while watching hockey which I enjoyed for a bit then I finished my Amazon prime series Why Women Kill and he the hockey game.
