Sleep in day!

Wow, what a good sleep. H came in at 6:30 so I let her out and then into the garage. Back in bed I fell asleep waking at usual 7:30 internal alarm but managed to fall back asleep til 8:30!! I am very happy to have this extra sleep. I made the coffee and served the prince at 9:30. We enjoyed our cups; I switched to a cappuccino while relaxing in big brown and couch. The day was overcast, brisk and chilly at -2 with the furnace even coming on. When S had a bowl of cereal he found the milk I used in my cap was rotten lol dam.

S unhooked the dump trailer and was off to town at 11:30 to finished a few things at the rental. He even had B stop and help him adjust a heavy shower door. I decided to fix the areas of our hardwood that are wearing off. I came up with a good little technique and it looks so much better.

I hate how this floor is wearing above but managed to camouflage it a bit below

closer up view of another area Here is a video link too of me doing it.

The sun finally came thru after 12 but the wind stayed. It did start to warm up now plus 4. I worked on writing the dresser tutorial. B and Cooper were out around 1, she got the water going on the arena. Sheldon pulled in before 1:30 bringing our Opa lunch. I shared half of mine with B then she and I caught our horses, groomed and rode. S came out after his lunch rest as we were untacking. He fixed the arena door that had the spring pulled thru again, B went and trimmed horses and I scooped more old and new poop around the yard then played ball with the dog for a bit.

I put a coat of flat clear on the dresser after a light sand as Britt packed up and headed home at 3:30. S was back in relaxing on the couch but after a snack of Miss Vicky's was motivated to head out in his skid steer to try the hay push again. This time it worked. He was back in an hour having pushed what he could.

One of our spruce trees (center) has the top going brown for the last year so I have posted on a couple garden forums. In the meantime S had threw the hose on to soak it then pressure washed the top hoping to dislodge the dry needles so new can sprout. Fingers crossed it is not pine beetle; worm bud or other disaster many though it might be.

I cooked our last Hello Fresh dinner; salmon and bok choy which turned out really good. Part way thru prepping I fed Harley pulping the bok choy scraps to put on her food. Shaina pulled in as I was washing up pots and pans and Sheldon was heading back to town after 6:30 to help Britt pick up a used garage door opener she found. It seems hers has the gears stripped. Shaina was off to her room while I worked on the blog while watching Fate finishing the short series. Sheldon was back after a super easy garage door opener change out and a few groceries just before 9. Not long and he went to soak in the tub. Shaina made popcorn then off to her room. I watched a couple Outlander episodes while S listened to sports then soon asleep. Tonight was not as easy to fall asleep again.
