More snow and the cold sets in

It was snowing when I sent H out and around to eat breakfast. It was -16 and looks like a snow day. S put the coffee on and we enjoyed one in bed. Our longtime renter gave notice he is moving closer to family after losing his job so S is actively finding a new renter and may have found one. S’s chore today was to get his GST done. He does it yearly so takes the day. I did another layer of white drips on the two vases then brought in a jewelry box to work on at the island with the paper sorter. This one was previously painted to so I decided to keep the black and add a white wash. It seemed to be going fast and smooth until I went to reassemble the doors that came off and parts in a bag. The bag as short 3 tiny screws but luckily I sorted thru my stash and found some that worked. Then the doors were too tight and needed to be sanded which required repainting and the front door came apart with vibrations so needed gluing.

S made a yummy melted tuna for lunch with a cold can of margarita. THANK YOU!! I enjoy having a meal made for me, a real treat. Then a nap for the prince with the news while I silver waxed the jewelry box, cleaned the inside, put on the super pretty knobs then get the glass from the door cleaned and sprayed in my fav faux mercury glass look. S was back to his numbers moving to the computer to enter on spreadsheet.

BRRR!!

While the mercury glass dried I made a pan of puffed wheat squares. S took a break from entering his GST data and went out to shovel sidewalks now the snow let up around 4. He played ball with H and gave the kitties a wet food treat while I wrote a tutorial for the pink trinket box.

Prince was back to GST and I writing posts and todays blog on my iPad. Shaina's newest client dropped off 3 months payment at 5 before cooking up a yummy salmon supper. Britt caught the tail end after 6. She first fed and put a blanket on Bird (it is -20 now) and after eating she and S pulled her car into the garage to check light bulbs they replaced a month ago that burned out. She was off to town soon after.

I wrote an Etsy ad for the jewelry box and finished up the blog and such while S watched hockey. We watched a couple Jack Ryan before S fell asleep, I caught a few YouTubes,
