Desk gets painted

I was awake and up before 8, it seems the internet was acting up so Had to restart the router a couple times. I just got busy working seeing I was up. The coffee pot went off at 8:30 as usual and S delivered me one in the office. I medicated Lola and he took her for her walk, a long walk down the lane then onto the deck for the day as I had set it all up. After his coffee and a bacon tomato focaccia bread he ran to town at 10:30 to drop off the tractor bucket and attachment and grabbed a few groceries. I went out to check Bandit who seems to have scraped up his face on the shelter. I watered the garden and happy to see 4 potatoes had sprouted.

Inside I worked on a tutorial for the oval coffee table and started the beach coffee table one. S was back at noon for lunch. After I headed out to pick a load of poop from the closest paddock and S went to the pit to do some work. Friday we are saying goodbye to Bandit so making him a place of rest. I dumped my load at the pit then onto making some milk paint for the desk. Everything was sanded and wiped again and the first coat brushed on. I even had time for a second coat on the drawers as it was so warm it was drying fast.

Back at the house S weed whipped under and around trees then mowed the yard. It looks lovely all trimmed and green after the rain. He did however damage one of the big chokecherry trees in his maneuvering. I took Lola for a walk before putting the second coat on the desk itself and the legs now that I could lay it down.

 S cooked supper.. barbeque burgers.... and yep KD ;) But at least he cooked and cleaned up after himself too, thanks! I ran to the gate while he cooked to pick a package delivered. B and Cooper arrived when we were eating at 7:30. She fed and gave Bandit bute. It seems he has puffy areas which may indicate cancer but this will keep him comfortable even more then the previcox pills. After eating we fixed up the tree damage with the new tape I received in the package. Hope it works.

Lola was super excited to head out as was Cooper she could come out but the excitement may be too much for her. They headed home at 8 and we finished our walk not really wanting to come in but her leg seems sore again. Time to rest. The desk was sanded smooth and touchups done then left to dry. S changed out the RO filters he picked up in town today before internet perusing for him and Queer Eye for me.
