Today marks 30 years of marriage, 3 decades yet when I reflect it seems to have gone way faster. We enjoyed our coffee and Lola med/walk routine before I got busy tidying the house for the evenings supper and photoshoot. S continued his tree watering and tank emptying.
I added these and more photos from last nights dress unboxing to yesterdays post, head back one post to see more and a video.
After a tuna sandwich lunch we prepped to run to town. We have a few errands to do including picking up some wood chips for Craig so S hooked on the dump trailer and threw in the big ladder for B.
Lola went for a quick pee before we did, check out the furniture gate LOL one of our errands is to grab a puppy pen to use in this spot.
First stop was at B's to drop off ladder and check the yellowing counter top. Dam looks like the back edge puddling caused that but not sure why on flat surfaces. I have a how to fix email to the company on the go. I then cut the 100s of sucker shoots off her tree and plucked any weeds from her flower box out front of her condo while she packed away to her compost bin and S rested with Cooper on the couch.
I grabbed some free furniture legs, picked up the just like new puppy pen then off to Paetz's at 3. Amanda curled up my locks while Sheldon ran for the wood chips. He was back unloaded and we headed to the ranch at 4.
Here is the curl transformation, THANK YOU flower girl!
Back at the ranch it was time to decide on the photo shoot. The day has been rainy off and on in the city and overcast here. Being Albertan we know it can change in short order. Britt was here doing her horse things. Kaylin and Shaina arrived around 5:30 We wavered on whether to have the photos or not. Finally we chose to postpone till Saturday.
The yummy steak and shrimp barbeque supper was enjoyed then a few family pics on the deck. Postponing the photos allowed the Paetz family to come out and join us to celebrate. And in true Murphy's law the evening turned out GORGEOUS! Of course it is not an evening in June without a campfire the boys got started. Clover really enjoyed her time with the other dogs (sans Lola who was on her deck retreat). Britt headed home around 9:30 having to work early in the am as usual. The fire was enjoyed until around midnight when all went home and to bed. Great way to celebrate 30 years.
there was even dancing :)
