Good Friday

Rosie woke us setting out to clean at 9. I did put her on hold as I did not have items out of her way. After a couple coffees I got them moved and her cleaning. I was then off to the garage to stage the long dresser.

S was off to hook up the fertilizer cart to his tractor but was back in in short order having sheared off a pin. Eventually he found one to work and was back at his spreading chore.

I lightly sanded and then applied a coat of ebony stain to the tall dresser top and drawer fronts and with the left over on the rags I did the entire base.

Popping in at noon to unload the dishwasher I put Deb's accent tables blog post live. I made S a sandwich and delivered it and a beer to him while he finished up then I grabbed the metal detector and took a loop around my path. I did not find the earring but found quite a few other metals items including screws, nails and coated wire.

S swapped me off taking a look while I went in to clean up a nightstand a lady wants. It have drawer repaired and SFO touched up on a few dings but for the most part it just needed a good scrubbing. We sorted the meat and got it in the freezer and whipped up some chicken wings for supper.

The nightstand buyer and her daughter arrived at 6, We got her loaded up and they took a look at the other painted items before heading off before 6:30. I set the horse tub to fill but it seems it did not come on so after eating I went out and filled it and gave the 2 their supplements, brrr still a cold windy day, please rain!! B says raining at her house.

S was off to the hockey room while I wrote blog posts and caught up then soaked in the tub catching up on Sabrina. Rain FINALLY started around 9, not allot about .22 " but better then nothing. The Flames lost sadly with a dejected S coming to bed not till midnight.
