work day

Even though I was up pretty early it was a slow morning getting marketing things sorted as well as helping a friend get set up to promote her photography. I haven't shared any of the pics she took, here are a few.

I got busy in the garage working on the projects. The tables were touched up then washed with a coat of chocolate.

After lunch the sun popped out, oh glorious day!! Seeing it was so nice out I left the tables to dry and headed out to spend a couple hours putting garden things away, pulling and transplanting a few plants that I will over winter.

I ate supper early to catch the end of Ellen then was back out in the garage. The tables were all dry brushed a white and sponge sanded when dry.

I pulled out a few more small projects, pepper grinders. One I milk painted black, sanded and black waxed, one I painted a fun blue and another my favorite red. (pics tomorrow) While on a roll I pulled out a big wood set which have plagued me with a sticky finish. I tried more cleaning ideas but after painting the first coat of red the goo gone leached thru ;( Time to call it quits, get Lola in (and medicate her ears that seem itchy poor girl) and head inside as after 9.

forgot to share this picture from 2 mornings ago when we were fogged in

and on the same day, Dave racing in Edmonton (inside rail)

Blog catchup while Ozark episodes played until Sheldon got home at the usual 11 and we headed to bed where he was asleep not long after reading his mail and I played cookie jam till the wee hours.
