Off to B's new house

Not a bad day started weather wise but the wind picked up. Once up B made cappuccinos and got started on packing up for her move. We got a few things from the storage trailer as well as enough packed to fill her car. The last painted jewelry box post went live.

Shelby and Bub stopped out after lunch for a quick visit and to get some horse meds. They were off around 2 and we made out way to B's new place. OH MY, their standard of having cleaned the rental place was WAYYYY below my and B's standards. And the place itself has been maintained haphazardly, the grounds are pretty but over grown with weeds.

We unloaded and headed to Airdrie to the thruft stores where we found quite a few kitchen items and a neat nightstand/end table for her new place. I limited myself to candlesticks and a vintage bar case!!

We grabbed a burger and ate on our way back to her place after 5 and for the next 2 plus hours we cleaned. Most of it was B vacuuming the place along with scrubbing the pantry so I could organize it. We wrapped it up at 7:30 and headed back to the ranch.

The dogs were excited and eager to come making it easy to put Lola in the garage for the night. B rest her sore back and perused for items needed like stools and a kitchen shelving unit as did I online garage saleing and shopping. Thunder rolled and it began to rain but it did not last long.
