photo shoot

Sheldon was off bright and early to a meeting in the city. I too was up early around 8 and happy to see the sun shining full force. It was only plus 3 last night, brrr. I have a lady coming for the stack of wood supposedly at 9 so got ready but she was a bit slower arriving closer to 10. I put another coat of pink on the jewelry box while I waited and finished my Hometalk post for the grey table. Yesterday I did a plate post and a sign post to be in the que for a feature again.

Then it was time to swiftly clean the main floor for viewings today and tomorrow. This is the good part of viewings as I finally am forced to tidy.

Another gal and her son arrived at 11 to check out the dining table. She is going home to measure and let me know. I jumped on the quad and went and opened the pasture gate and closed main and yard gates so horses could go back out. Of course unless you stay near the gate they follow the quad so ended up back near the house. I took this opportunity to catch Switch, roach her mane and trim her feet then ride her back thru the winter pasture and up the drive with the rest following. 21 was a lovely day.

Time to finish the pink jewelry box; the glass was sprayed with the mercury glass look and reinstalled once dry. Snap some pics, add the Creative Moments label and set it with my sale items.

The gal messaged back she wants the table and will pick up in half hour. I got all leaves and the table moved to the entry way and hauled in legs of the next table in line and got them scrubbed up. The husband arrived in short order and he and I got it loaded up in his truck and secured down and he was off.

This left me hauling in the table top and lordy it was a heavy one. I got it washed up and the legs on and set all up.

It was then time to finally get myself presentable for a fun photo shoot tonight. My friend Krystalle (you have seen lots of her great polox pics on FB) wanted to try some different shoots for her business page she is working on. S made it home from his meeting at 5:30, 11 hours later made for a long day so he kicked back in big brown and had a nap.

Krystalle was here at 6 and she and I set off in the ranger to the old house south east of us to work on back lit photos. On our way back before 8, (we did not realize how fast time passed) we tried to capture some with the horses but it was setting fast. I will share her pictures in a few days., I snapped these while we were out there

these two came bounding across the field so excited to find us and spent the time rough housing and jumping in the canal and photo bombing the shoot.

Back in the house for a cold beer and visit, Sheldon joined us having changed the oil in his truck but had to stop as he galled his oil plug! Shaina arrived just before him around 9 staying the night after her gym day and doing a tournament tomorrow. Britt was not long after (yes she is still living at home as her dog lives here) and we all had a visit before she was off at 10.
