wind damage

The table was my morning project; another round of sanding and wipe down. I also hand sanded the chair a bit and then painted it in her color choice as well as the center leg.

After lunch I was back out sanding in another grit, wiping well and starting the stain/oil process.

haha the firm writer in the family left their marks

The day looked nice so headed out to water my garden, a few more trees and planters. As I turned the corner to move the hose I saw my pretty glass gazing ball in a million pieces. I just had put it out a couple days ago, whaaaaaaa.

Time to go back to the garage as the wind was now picking up around 4, grrr. I began deconstructing the broken dresser from Britt's move to Olds. Perhaps the wood drawer sides cane be made into signs?  Just before 6 the dining set lady and her son stopped out to check the grey paint color and chair. I made them a sample board of the color to take home and try in their kitchen.

Britt was home just before 7 followed closely behind by a gal who emailed this am about the tiger oak dresser. Small world she used to live in Hanna too. Her and her husband had a quick visit but had no room to take it home and need to measure. They are wanting for a sink vanity is a B&B house they are setting up in the Hat. A brief rain squall blew thru as they were here heading east.

Britt went to feed Bird and not ride in this ever changing weather and on her way back noticed this!! GEEZ this teepee is not meant to be here. So Sad for the wind damage but I guess it could be worse, right?

Back inside I worked on reposting all my kijiji ads and lowering prices on FB while watching season 4 of The Fosters I started last night. I did get a message to pickup one of the posted chairs on sale tomorrow out of my drops.
