more trims = all done for a couple weeks ;)

Gophers were the word of the day, Sheldon spent allot of time trying to narrow down the population and while I was putting on another coat of stain/oil on the two projects  heard a scuffle. It seems Lola had caught one and it ripped her face open. They were squaring off when I looked out and soon it was under the car. She was determined to catch this thing after is awful attack to her face, poor thing! I backed up the car and she promptly caught it. Sheldon was trekking back to the house on the quad after hay evaluations so took care of the rest.

I decided to paint the matching mirror for the dresser before heading out to catch and trim Pepper and Daisy. Two hours of corrective trims and it was warm but only 20 thank heavens. Sheldon had headed inside for late lunch so I joined after put the horses away after 2 .

Another coat of paint on the mirror then an hour of trying to get the newspaper from under the edges!! GRRRR, note to self only stiff paper for edges!! Sheldon took the fireball to town to wash as I got started on dark waxing the coffee table.

When he got back home, he changed clothes, helped me get the lower shelf in place carefully and headed back in to golf with Shaina. Britt joined me to condition after her work day. I trimmed both KD and Switch's back feet before coming in, all 6 horses done and good to go for a few more weeks.

Shaina pulled in as we were finishing up and Sheldon arrived with Vietnamese take out for us all for supper as I jumped in the shower. Another late 9 o clock summer supper but it is fabulous to be so light out, lovely and nice long days to get lots done!

Britt showered up and was off to Hussar cabaret and sleepover. The rest of us just relaxed on this Saturday night. Shaina did bring a small paint project we worked on, a pepper grinder. She put on the first coat and I the 2nd before hitting the sheets.
