Mom called with a wake up call 7:45 to confirm coming for the w/e to trail ride. Exciting as Dad is coming too and has never gone out with us before. Unfortunately Shaina & Sheldon have to work but Britt and I will enjoy a day out with them.
Time to get Bird hosed and doctored. She is coming along but the penicillin is hard ot get into her so asked vet about alternative, will pick up later today.

A lovely 19 degree day out and horses needing trimmed to go trail riding so Pepper and Hawk got their pedicures first. I then put Pepper with Bird for a buddy but soon they were off on their own in the paddock. Showered and off to town to get fuel, creamer, mail the tournament fees in finally and grab this new medicine.

Britt was home in time to help me make supper. She made her delicious perogies and I chicken wings and zucchini. I headed out as now 7 and sun dropping, Daisy got her feet trimmed in the no mosquito zone barn. Britt joined us after hosing Bird to cream up then we attempted this new medicine with epic failure. She actually bit the syringe and broke ;/
as soon as she was home she had to snuggle her dogs and visit her horse!
I threw a 2nd coat of primer on the pieces before getting all cozy in bed awaiting the parents while Britt did homework!
