Happy Mother's Day!

Harley wanted out at 2:50 am, sneaky little J bolted in when I let her back in so both went to the garage for the rest of the night. I woke at the usual 6  but made my self sleep in till after 8:30. Happy Mother's Day!! Nathan sent Renn's ready for her first Mother celebrating day videos. XOXO

We both chatted with our wonderful Mom's while enjoying a coffee in bed. Harley got a late breakfast even with her garage rest. The wind was blowing at 6 when I woke and continues. It is so ugly when windy. Plans were to go for a River walk around 11 so S skipped church but the smoke changed the walk plans. I pulled out the new dahlias, trimmed and misted them to get them woke up. A quick shower then on to accounting and getting another blog post done for Friday was next - few new photos have been added too. S finished his internet peruse and went back up on the trailer roof to seal with caulking we have on hand.

I prepped to head to the city. S came in for a shower and clean up too. We were eating the leftover burgers as Britt, Gully and Cooper arrived. She brought me a cute little plant. XOXO We jumped in the car and were off by noon arriving at Kaylin’s before 1. A quick visit with the Boysis family celebrating their first Mother’s day. Britt ran and grabbed herself lunch.

We loaded up and headed to Edworthy park just south of K’s place. Shaina met us there. Nathan stayed home to prep their fancy seafood supper and do some cleaning etc. It was smoky and blustery in the city too. Shaina was in line getting a tea for herself and me, THANKS Dude. We then set off across the bridge to walk on the more treed side. It w 25 out but the wind and smoky skies felt colder.

Trying one of the bonnets on R and look at the pretty peony in Kaylin's bouquet

We were back to the townhouse at 2:30. Renn had a snack and off to nap. Sheldon stayed back to relax and watch TV while us girls went for our pedicures.  It was a bit staggered getting our toes done but in the end all had pretty toe colors. - picture not taken darn it. THANK YOU Girls, the pedi date and walk was lovely.

the girls treated me to the 5 star pedicure, THANK YOU!! XOXO

these 2 have ticklish feet like their Dad

paraffin on feet and collagen mask and hot towels on legs and the final look

Kaylin headed home to enjoy her seafood supper. I jumped in with Shaina as did Britt and we raced to Blanco to hit half price margaritas that end in 15 minutes. I called Sheldon to meet us there and ordered him one too along with a $3 pork taco. The chili coconut margaritas were good but a bit too spicy for me so I went with classic. The guacamole was yummy as were the pork tacos.

Shaina headed for her place and the 3 of s for the ranch. The pups were happy to see us back after 6 to feed them a late supper and have a pee break. B went out to ride Roo. It was a bit too windy and smoky for me so I stayed inside. Dave arrived with smokies for supper. S cooked them up. B was in to join us to eat. She and I went out to vaccinate and deworm the horses while the boys played crib. The evening turned beautiful in the golden hour.

thinking of putting my asparagus around the shed??

B loaded up Cooper and Gully and headed out before 9 to drop them at home and go for groceries.  I wrote today’s blog and trimmed Har’s nails.  Dave finished his game then met her at grocery store. THANKS for supper Dave. S watched hockey happy with Edmonton's loss. I watched how to plant asparagus videos.
