Birthday week continues

Happy 85th Papa K!! Hope you have an amazing day and year ahead. The sun was shining to start this beauty day. It was the usual pet care and coffee start followed by marketing and internet perusing. I headed out to the garage to paint the second coat of warm white on the table.

The top had a coat of clear wax hand rubbed in and once dry things were moved into the dining room.

S strong armed a tire of the little trailer to take to town for a new tire to be put on. He took 3 trailer tires off, loaded them and Harley in the merc then we were off to town. Oil and filters were the first stop then I dropped my Etsy parcel I packaged up earlier at the post office. I had preordered Vietnamese for lunch so I walked over to grab it while S dropped tires at the tire shop then we headed home to eat our lunch. S finished in time for his 1 pm zoom class. B was out soon after and off to trim Pepper.

I did a poop scoop loop then trimmed apple trees for over an hour and man was it hot out at 24 dressed for colder. I came in to change at 2:30 and motioned S to finish his zoom class on the deck as I changed into shorts. B caught Bird and took her for a very sweaty ride.

This is our current table (L) with one of the leaves done in walnut gel stain. The right picture shows the new table top color. There are many trees in the forest when it comes to color but S and I are both drawn to the darker walnut so think this new table is not the one for us so will post it for sale.

Once he finished up his class, he helped me carry in the table top then headed out to change the oil and filters on the truck. I staged up photos and decided the table is not what I want so will post for sale. It was now time to take Harley for a walk with Cooper joining us. I let the horses out into the hay field as I looped around. They were very happy about this.

Accounting was my next task; S took the truck for a drive to warm the oil and get mail then back to finish the filters. B headed home after 4:30 having fed the horses. S came in for a cold brew then a couple guys arrived at 5:30 to buy some tires. while S helped them load up tires I dug the last potato hill. Sadly, it will be a meager amount of potatoes for the 2 of us LOL. They were delicious though as was the rest of the meal.

S wrapped up watering the trees as we put the cats to bed however he could not get Gulliver in so I took Stella to barn to spend the night with J keeping the trailer mice free. We enjoyed a soak in the hot tub then after a rinse watched a couple more Dahmer episodes.
