Shaina was up making her cappuccino before 6:30 for early Wednesday meeting day and of course once she went down Harley was wanting out. Sheldon was then up at 7:30 and off to town to get bloodwork done early. He was back with tea and muffins for us all around 9:30 after I had fed H and sitting in bed playing a few games then continued with the treats for a bit. Shaina was off to town at 10 to work out and train and get a massage.
S relaxed in big brown with his treats reading a book as I did marketing for a bit before heading to the garage to get to work on the dressers. The tops were covered in stripper and left to sit while colors picked and drawers worked on including wood filler around hardware holes.
In to watch the news and defrost soup for lunch. After lunch I was back scraping the stripper off and neutralized, S went out to park the fuel tank trailer and pick up a few hoses. It was below zero all morning and only plus 1 after lunch but it is warming a bit to 5 now. Shaina was off for appointments in the city at 1:30. The dressers were hand sanded on the bodies and damp wiped.
I came in around 3 to catch up dresser details and wrote a Hometalk post for the white/light dresser that is still for sale. S was back in then too having taken Harley for a quick walk and laid on couch to read but was soon snoring. I was back out to the dressers and braved the brisk windy day to haul the shorter dresser and the 4 taller dresser drawers to power sand. S was up and loaded up some wood in the garage to have ready in the colder upcoming days.
When I dug potatoes in the garden for supper, in the sheltered area it was nice at now 9. We enjoyed a delicious steak and veggie supper. I caught up more computer work while S watched hockey following it up with a soak in a hot bath. I tried to watch some Netflix but lights were off after 9 for an early night. I did however listen to podcasts in the dark for a bit as S snoozed.
