Remembrance Day

Lest we forget!

Elmer Fudd was up after 7 hopping in the shower and prepping for his hunting day. He loaded up his truck taking Harley out for her bathroom break then I set up her breakfast. The hunting partner arrived about 7:45, they grabbed a loaded coffee and off by 8 as I got to marketing. I stopped for a shower and when I got out had an Etsy sale. I was very excited until I saw it was the kids table and chair going to BC. The Etsy ad said local pickup only but easily missed because in shipping it says free next day delivery! I spent time finding shipping quotes. Of course it is oversize and Canada Post wont ship, courier showed $60, perfect she would take it still and pay however once I entered the dimensions the price shot up to $420!! No way so the sale had to be cancelled, boo!

I rousted Shaina around 11, she made us the breakfast muffins for lunch, thank you! Speaking of lunch the hunter forgot his in the fridge in his morning excitement. The sun was now out as well but only -8 warming to -1 by after lunch. I weighed Harley as she seems to be growing and is now 86 pounds.

The ladies arrived to pick up the dresser before 1. Loading all 9 drawers then the dresser in the back of a truck gave them a challenge but they got it loaded and on their way after 1. Britt and Cooper arrived back from their Lethbridge vacation as they were loading. 

B caught up on her phone on the couch, Shaina got a program ready to go train Sharon and I headed to garage to paint the bed frame the final warm white coat. Before I headed out I looked out to see Harley with the pink ball!!! She had dug it out of somewhere and they played with it happily until Britt headed to town just before 2 and Shaina soon after.

Shaina was back after 3, made a snack and did a few things then off to town after 4:30 to work out as I was making hamburger soup for supper. B and Cooper were back out after 5 feeding Bird and waiting for the soup. She and I were eating when the fellows got back home from their unsuccessful hunting day around 6:30. Sheldon scarfed 2 bowls down having forgot his lunch after making us a rum and coke. Brett had 2 before he was on his way home passing Shaina at the gate on her way home for supper.

After her soup the girls started going thru magazines to each create a vision board. S was off to shower and lay in bed. B and Coop headed home after 9 and I to bed to watch more Alienist. Shaina did her usual head to room, back up for snack and repeat ;)
