I had set my alarm to walk Harley for 7:30 but was awake long before that. I headed out after 7 to take her for the morning bathroom break and quick loop around. Back in the garage it was breakfast and eye meds then in to some quiet kennel time while I made a cap and did some marketing. I finished the end table tutorial I was working on yesterday and got posted to some sites.
Seeing J needs meds I headed out to give them and let him out along with cleaning the kittens litter box. Back inside Sheldon was up and made coffee and back in bed. After watching a couple training videos I decided to try the prong collar seeing it may be more responsive seeing J is back. I asked S to get dressed and come do some cat work. I gave J pill #3 then we did some exposure and set J free. Now to walk with more control. I think it is a better communicating tool. S scooped the poop while we walked around with cat and horse distractions then water and kennel.
S invited Cole's to come skeet shooting again this afternoon so did some tidying and bathroom scrubbing after finishing the desk with black wax. S went out to organize his gun stuff. The customer arrived after 1 to see the dining set and had it loaded up in short order!! Yeah, very happy to sell this beauty and get the floor space back in my great room.
I took Harley out for a walk then and met S at the "shooting range" for a beverage and let Harley sniff the area on a long line. Cole's arrived before 2:30 and the event began. Roxie was enamored with Harley who reacted very well to the gun shots. I did take her back to the garage kennel to chew on her bone and rest after awhile and brought the kitties out.
I brought Harley back out for the visiting part after they were done shooting. Cole's were loaded up and headed home just after 6. We went in for leftover chicken supper. Britt and Cooper were out shortly after. She fed Bird. S walked the pasture to pick up the plastic shotgun wads. Harley and Cooper had a play in the round pen then she and I helped look for the plastic pieces then back to the garage. B gave Luna's butt a good cleaning with warm water, J his pills and inside garage we did last nail clipping foot and eye meds for H. Then the condo couple were off.
I tucked Harley in kennel and headed in to watch some Home Edit after a shower. S caught the last of the 1st Stanley cup game then made some popcorn and crawled into bed to surf the net. I took H out for a last bathroom break just before 10 and a few sprinkles started to come down.
