Rain rolls in and attic critter caught

Coffee to start the Monday with a cool 10 degree overcast and soon to be foggy day. Then I was on to marketing and trying to catch up the blog posts. Before lunch S went out, let out the horses and parked the cargo trailer by the garage perfectly located for me to load an unload as needed, thank you! A bit of rain drizzled down at 11 then was done.

I cooked us up our last Hello Fresh meal; roasted salmon. It was very good sans the green beans of course. Before he was to head to the airport today, S checked the trap line in the attic and low and behold I was right!! There was a critter living up there (lets hope just one) and it was a mouse!!! He disposed of it and reset the trap, which he will check when home in a week as that is a definite blue job.

He was off to the airport just before 2 as I continued to write blog tutorials to post later in the week. It was then time to get busy getting some new pieces made. The large jewelry box was up next. It was scrubbed, hardware removed and a coat of fresh linen white paint.

I sorted other projects and brought in 2 salt and pepper sets to scrub up to paint this week.

It only hit 14 today causing me to turn on the furnace! A bit more rain came down after supper off and on. Perfect day to keep working on written work. I was writing and watching season 1 on The Sinner and found it much more engaging but still a bit odd. Seeing it is cool and drizzly I decided to leave the horses out to forage to keep warm.

Shaina arrived before 9:30 and promptly cooked a pizza for supper. I finally shut down Netflix after finishing 3/4 of season 1 then caught some YouTube and podcasts and drifting off I think after 3 am ;(
