Half way thru September already

It was socked in like a little fishing village again today when I was up before 8. I had a good sleep till 6:45 but managed to lay there for an hour with eyes closed planning my week. Then it was time to get moving. My cappuccino as I finished the white shelf tutorial and got it posted on a few sites.

A bit more marketing before I tended to my neglected house and garden. Once the fog burnt off I went out and watered the garden, pots and a flower bed, gathered seeds and pulled spent plants. It is looking like most are near the end and fall is looming. For lunch I had my last bowl of lazy cabbage rolls, the casserole that lasts a week ;)

size reference, this jewel box is big

Inside it was time to clean and finish laundry. This was all afternoon, scrubbing bathrooms, laundry, vacuuming the main floor, putting stuff away, taking projects to the cargo trailer and retrieving the jewelry box that sold. It is nice to have the house in order again after the last few weeks of chaos.

Seeing the horses were back in the paddock I ran to the gates and closed them in as Shaina is staying the night and S coming home and tomorrow a busy day with B's house stuff. Supper with a chicken pot pie and a few games of cookie jam were in order then I had to get back outside as it was so lovely. Deadheading, cutting suckers off all the chokecherry trees and picking apples for the ponies. The down side is mosquitoes and dark before 8 ;(

I repotted one succulent plant that has grew out of the dirt and had 2 babies. Hopefully all 3 survive ;) Then it was back to computer work while finishing Mind Hunter and starting a new series called Unbelievable. It is based on a true story. Shaina arrived for her Monday night sleepover before 10 and Sheldon before 11.
