Over half inch of rain came down

I was up before 8, in a bit I made cappuccinos for Shaina and myself before she was off to town at 8:45. It had rained overnight leaving puddles. After a quick market check I watched new Marilyn season while painting a second coat of white on the jewelry box.

When it was dry I took it to the garage to sand and distress.

Next it was on to painting the salt and pepper shakers. I checked the rain gauge to find 6/10ths so far and still drizzling off an on.

Now to do some "paperwork" while things dried while watching the last 2 episodes of season 1 The Sinner. I also made a lazy cabbage roll casserole for late lunch early supper for when Shaina gets home.

While it cooked I went back out and painted coat 2 on the kitchen décor sets.

Shaina was back around 2. She helped me decide on colors for a few more jewelry box projects. I cleaned up a large one Kaylin sourced for me and painted it warm white. Taking a break to eat the casserole around 2:30, yummy! The drizzly rain cleared away mid afternoon staying overcast. I dumped the gauge having another half tenth thru the day. Not bad at all I say.

we decided to leave the original art on the top

Shaina's 6:15 class was cancelled giving her a bit more time to work on her nutrition school work while I put another coat of warm white on the large jewelry box and wet distressing the edges. She was then off before 7 to make a sale before her 7:30 class.

The clouds threatened but nothing more, the dahlias enjoyed the recent rains

S was back at 8:30 as I was finishing up waxing the white jewelry box while watching The Sinner. I made us a smoothie then moved to my comfy bed to watch a few more episodes while she got back to homework.
