Sunny Sunday

The sun shone brightly today. After letting out dogs and my IG peruse I made a cappuccino and headed out to check the rain gauge, 3 1/2/10ths came down yesterday. The morning was spent marketing and writing a blog post for the stenciled rug that was such a HUGE hit. I also had a lady wanting to buy the antique tray I just did.

I wandered outside and picked a few weeds, filled holes being dug in my flower beds - BAD DOGS enjoying the warm sunshine. Britt finally surfaced at noon for her cappuccino and some hamburger soup.

She went to check on Roo and give supplements then brought Bird in to tweak her feet, give some injectable meds and put on her fancy new fly sheet. She also cleaned out her new truck we had put in the barn she sent home awhile back. I worked on putting up more awards and photos in the barn.

She and Cooper were off for home after 3 so I was off to the garage to dark wax the white pieces and bring inside to dry. Time to scrub up more projects to paint; a bread box and long pine shelf.

Supper was all veggies including a spinach smoothie after cutting back all the plants that are starting to bolt. I washed them and pulled off the stems and took to horses. All were skeptical except Roo.

To the garage now to paint the 2 new projects and build up the broken end of the rocking horse runner. The end tables were lightly sanded and ready for the next step: metallic paint.
