Odds and ends day

I was awake early listening for B, sure enough she was up with Cooper around 6:30 and off to Fernie for her w/e hiking with Steph and her family before 7. I perused Instagram and the sleeping prince even woke early and had the coffee going at 7:30. Early start for our Saturday too.

Marketing for me and writing 3 new posts for Hometalk after my two tone chair was featured and internet perusing for prince till we headed outside. Finally we drilled a hole in the deck below the water faucet and ran the hose down and under the deck. Next it was to hang the new doors, trim the newly planted caragannas then stop for a bite to eat. Nap time for the prince in big brown as updated my plant maps and such.

I took S's watermelon rinds out to the "girls", they loved the fancy presentation today ;)

Afternoon weather started to cloud up changing S's hay cutting plan to putting on the new rake tines. I watered my planters, new plants and garden pruning a few along the way. The jewelry box buyer dropped out at 2 to pick it up, thanks again Lindsay.

The painted basket was staged too.

The sun was back out in full force hitting 26. I got busy painting the table base and applying another coat of Danish oil on the top while S loaded up bundles of kindling and other wood scraps and hauled to the firepit (tidying the Sanford area) and put water on the back trees to take a bit out of the tank as rain is in the forecast. He also spent over an hour watering the new caraganas. I did odds and ends like touch up the trim paint after doors were hung, weeded rhubarb, washed his dirty coveralls, washed paint brushes and things such as that then inside to update the blog as behind once again. It was with a cold beer as toasty warm today again.

I don't like to waste anything so after oiling the table I used what was left in the rag and did my shop furniture scooter too.

Supper was yummy barbecued chicken and veggies. I had a technical help call from Microsoft after supper that took 45 as she repaired my office but I did manage to leave the phone with Sheldon while on hold and run out and give supplements and more watermelon rinds to the horses before the threatening skies opened up.

S enjoyed catching the Stamps game, some baseball then the chucks and rodeo for an athletic filled evening. I wrote a tutorial for the painted print and frame. The clouds seemed to blow by but around 8:30 the winds really picked up and soon there was a good dump of rain just after I got the dogs in. In about half an hour we got just over 1/10th
