Projects finished and more sorted

I had closed all windows hoping to sleep till 8:30 but my mind awoke me at 6:30 hahaha but I did get back to sleep. Cappuccinos and off to finish the projects of yesterday after doing my marketing. The blue wine rack looks neat, I like the color especially black waxed.

The trays from yesterday were staged.

I filled the words on the wine box top after not finding and paper to decoupage over it.

The grey tray was stencilled ENJOY in black and sanded and waxed once dry after lunch.

The dark clouds were threatening so I went out to give meds and give the horses the pineapple peels and a banana peel as suggested by others in a post that their horses liked them. So far not the Kuhn horses.

Even though it was thundering and dark it seemed to be skirting around the ranch so I quickly hand watered the garden before heading in. Back to the projects

A bit of rain did fall at 4 but not much then it was back to off and on clouds. I spent a huge part of the afternoon cleaning out my storage hutch and sorting what to paint and what to take as picked pieces to the fall markets. The furniture under the truck lift got reorganized too as the 2 end tables were hauled out to get ready to paint.

While I was cleaning I found the perfect paper for the wine box top. After sanding it, the words still could be seen so the paper is a blessing from my sorting efforts. I mod podged it onto the top

then when dry I put acriglaze coat over the top to seal it

then sanded the edges and waxed to match the base. LOVE IT!

I wrote up a sales post for the antique tray on my Etsy store, I like to sell them there as easier to ship and Etsy buyers seem to appreciate one of a kind pieces more. I do however need to have a supply of smalls for my 3 fall markets so not sure I will list everything on Etsy too. To wrap up the night I watched 2 more episodes of the Good Fight.
