Auntie Nan time

Sun shining on loads of snow is always a pretty sight. It was my all day sight too. After my 2 cups of coffee I ventured out in the -13 sunshine and shoveled all the sidewalks and deck and took a few photos of the pretty hoar frost.

Busy day in the house; I sanded the navy crib and did touch ups, now just to oil later today. The vanity had 2 clear coats applied to the flat tops and once dry hauled in, furniture moved and some photos snapped.

Amanda had me on standby to perhaps watch the kids while she took Asher for his arm check up and messaged me around 3:30 after taking them all to the hospital that again the arm has NOT set correctly and they will need to reset!!! What, this poor kid. I had been waiting for my latest food delivery for today and after jumping in the truck and heading to town I found it at the gate. I circled back to drop it at the house and put Lola in quick as -15 and not sure when I would be home.

I picked up Archer and Ada at the hospital and we made a detour on the way to their house to pick up so wood putty I had been researching before the text. Back at the house we had 3 hours of stories, snacks and giggles. I had brought along the jewelry box the lady had arranged to pick up today at 4:30. The change of pick up location worked well for her and I learned of all the friends we have in common. Thanks Shelley for your purchase.

Amanda and Asher got to the house after 7:30 with a new pink cast and Dairy Queen burger for supper, thank you. A visit as we ate then it was time for me to get going. I was heading out the door at 8 as Craig was getting home from his work day. I stopped to grab a few groceries and the mail and was off for home in the chilly cold.

Unload and let Lola out for a pee then a few sales updates before getting her back in. I did my Chef's Plate unboxing, big difference is they bag in paper bags in the packaging part. Before bed I decided to go oil the crib so it had time to dry overnight. It was then time to curl up with Netflix and finish the season of Riverdale.
