cow clinic... for B

I awoke at 7 and my back felt not bad but by 8 it was sore and no idea why. However I got up and loaded snacks and drinks and hustled Britt to get moving. We had hot tea and loading saddles not long after. B caught the horses while I spread the shavings gingerly and once loaded we were off by 9:15 am as planned.

Once we arrived and got unloaded, paid, tacked up and in the arena it was obvious Switch was indeed still off. I tried lunging, taking off boots and warming her up but it only got worse. My back felt terrible so we both were sidelined to spend the day watching and videoing Britt as she worked cattle.

offside for the day

Lunch was a brisk, the warm temps had not rolled in quite yet but by the time it was all done at 4 it was 11 and the wind had blew away. The day was pretty uneventful except for Britt's partner in one round who spurred her young horse resulting in some extreme airtime. (video to big to load but ask me to see it sometime)

sushi for lunch, yum!! thanks B!!

Not long to load up and off we went making a detour thru town to pick up a kids table and chair set I won on a bidding page. Back home it was a quick unload and finish the sushi from lunch and Britt and Cooper were off home after 5. The sun was shining making for a beautiful evening. I had a hot tub soak then supper and when getting Lola in after 8 did a side of the dresser in dark wax, will finish tomorrow. Time for Greys and This Is Us but I actually shut then down after 10, so tired.
