Switch meets Roo

I awoke just after 7, it was still kinda dark but remembered I could check in so headed to the computer to get us checked in. Good thing as we were in row 39 and I got us moved to 18 for the first leg of flights and for the 2nd we were 7 rows apart on the aisle. I himmed and hawed about it and eventually went back to the computer and paid the upgrade to get seats together in row 1 from Montreal to Quebec City. Hope it will be worth it. Kaylin was heading out after 8 as I was getting back into bed. Off she headed to Canmore for her makeup gig and then enjoy the wedding staying the night.

I decided to update my phone before managing to eventually fall back asleep for an hour. However once I woke and went thru the new settings it said I no longer had LTE service, WTH. So for the next 2 + HOURS I spent with technical support at Bell and Apple only to find I had to reset my phone to factory settings and we are not sure that even fixed it.

Shaina was off to town at 2 to walk her friends dog and head to her 5 pm work shift. Sheldon went out to roll a bale and I to pick some of my beets so they don't freeze while gone. I then was off to catch Switch which turned out to be quite a chase. I cold blustery wind had her quite worked up but eventually I caught her by the barn. The snow is still piled high at the gates which required me to walk her all the way around and down the road. Then we had to load bales to take along with her and by 3  made our way to Jac's to drop her off for 10 days to buddy up with Roo.

 Roo was a rascal to catch but once I did she was a sleepy Sam. It was so chilly out at 7 with a wind her lesson was only about 25 minutes. We unloaded hay and said farewell to the girls and made our way to Tim's for a hot tea. Once back home S backed the trailer up to the storage trailer for the girls to get loading their stuff while we were gone. I cleaned out the shavings so they only have to sweep and lay cardboard if they too.

 

I prepped beets for supper while S got salmon burgers and KD going. Poor Shaina made it for her shift, sat for 45 minutes cause slow then was told she could take the night off!!! She headed back home stopping to get milk for S's KD and joined us at 7:30 for a late supper. Shaina set me up with I tunes music streaming before she headed to town after 9 to work out and watch a movie with Carley. Sheldon after his fill of football today was asleep soon after prepping for our early start in the am. I packed a few last things, got Lola settled inside and finished the blog while watching Grey's.
