small sales day

Britt took this at work this am, awesome right?

Now the salt shaker is good to go I had it and the pepper grinder packaged up and ready to deliver. I met the Rocking R owner at Starbucks after 10 where I was meeting Monica after.

She and I brain stormed on our pop up store ideas and hashed thru the market world for the next 3+ hours. We wrapped it up only to see that it was almost 2 pm and I had only had a pumpkin spice latte so far today, hungry! But that had to wait as I checked Rona for straight wood and loaded up groceries at Walmart.

My next stop was Amanda's to pick up a library book for B and have a quick visit before setting off home with my groceries. I made a stop at the new mail boxes only to find they are not numbered with our box number but rather a series of pods and doors. A call to the listed Canada Post number had them unable to help, WTH? Back home I unloaded goods and called the local PO to get the details, will try tomorrow.

I put my soup bones back on and got back to my marketing. An email said my first Etsy sale was pending, wahoo, I hope so.

The wind picked up and blew for the rest of the day. The over cast sky sure made the warm 18 day seem much cooler and they say the wind will be worse tomorrow and colder ;( I braved the winds to haul the bench back up and out on the deck again to add color to the pics.

A gal who contacted me with a low ball offer last week on the blue end table arrived after 5:30 after I accepted her offer just to move the piece. She was thrilled to get it and acknowledged the great deal she got. Hopefully she may be a repeat buyer like she says.

I was working on sanding boards for my ruler project when Britt got home after 7:30. Seems she stopped to start tanning for our January vacation :) We enjoyed a hot bowl of my homemade soup I had finished up then I was back to my wood sanding. I am not happy with the 2~ 6" W boards after spending the night under weights so will pick up a new straight one when back in town tomorrow for my acupuncture appointment but also suggested the wider one I have one hand too.

I added the ombre dresser to my Etsy account. I also fine tuned my bead choices for my custom mala. I went with angel aura quartz, larimar and aqua blue impression jasper and maybe some howlite. Should match well with my bracelets right?

Now back to the growth ruler, I confirmed the wider board I had on hand. The customer sent the 1/2 down deposit with a password of grey stain, what I thought dark stain! Somewhere along the line wires were crossed and by the luck of our many messages we caught it just before I went to stain the board! Grey it is. then back to Grey's.. anatomy while I finished up the blog.

I got word I had another feature on Hometalk newsletter, my antique green dresser that sadly is still for sale but such a beauty.
