Happy Mothers Day

Happy Mothers day everyone!! To my amazing Mothers (and daughters) who inspire me every day to be a better Mom!! I LOVE you!! I was greeted to a sweet text from Kaylin as my wake-up call.

She is doing testing in Strathmore for her ulcers after having to go to the hospital yesterday as no improvement. At least that Doctor gave her new medicine and referred her to a GI specialist. Feel better soon lovey. She has to be back to the city by 10:30 to work today.

Then Britt arrived bearing fresh but uber strong coffee with a yummy bottle of creamer to my bedside! XOXOXO then she made me breakfast!! What a sweetheart!! Thanks sweets!

I checked the rain gauge and 1/2" came in that blast, yahoo!! this will really green up the grass and so glad I fertilized my flowers! I turned my attention to coating the sideboard with another dark oil stain coat and put hardware back on the dry drawers. It is coming along for sure.

Next projects were to spray a metal basket a soft green and a glass decanter the sea glass paint. Britt had wanted to go to a movie today but I suggested we do all tomorrow on our city route so we got busy taking her room completely apart and rearranging and doing some purging.

I had pulled the dresser stored in her room to move her desk in, so staged it again hoping to get more interest. The sideboard was given a coat of clear stain/oil finish. I was finishing up when Shaina called having arrived home from Bali safe and sound.

Already in an organizing mood and seeing it was overcast and dull, I moved onto the furnace room. I was making good progress when Amanda invited us in for cheesecake at 6:30. Off went the light and into the car we hopped. The cheesecake yummy and the children's best moves were shown . Thanks for inviting us P family!! Still needing supper we scooted to the grocery store to grab sushi and a Tim's along the route then home.

Britt was off to hang with Amber for the evening soon after we got home and ate. I worked on sorting photos while watching Switched at Birth. I was still organizing the files when she got home at 11 when I moved to my bed to finish up a couple more ;)
