home from the north

Skiff of snow on the ground this am ;( Even big D was not impressed and wanted back in soon after eating. I forgot to apply my veneer removal method last night so did it first thing. It looks like where it is still stuck it is stuck well.

The rest of my morning was marketing; reposting furniture on Kijiji, setting up a rafflecopter account, writing blog posts including my free paint giveaway one using the rafflecopter, updating Instagram and Creative Moments page to name a few. I saw it was after 1 and I was still in my pj's ;)

Time to get dressed and get to work on the current projects. The coffee table received a final coat of dark wax, now to dry buff and haul in maybe one Prince is home to avoid wall dings, haha. The veneer was checked, nope longer then 5 hours needed. I got busy repairing the drawers, some needed veneer re-glued, some need drawers brad nailed in place.

The temps hovered around freezing with another dreary overcast day. I tried more veneer removal around supper time but no luck so rehydrated the towel and will leave overnight. The prince arrives home tonight, good thing I did up all his wash including the dress clothes he no longer needs for downtown. ;) Next order of business, other then letting Diego in and out ;) was to make another giveaway post for Country Chic Paint now. These take a bit of work to have all past projects and blog posts linked but worth it. Someone will be a winner of another great paint package.

Now it was time to jump in the shower before prince arrives, home alone for a few days has great benefits like baileys in your coffee, miss Vicky's chips for lunch and pj's to work in but you also realize you may or may not have brushed your teeth today!! He was home just before 10, kindly fed the pleading cats and it was not long until I was serenaded by the sounds of snoring! Unfortunately this caused a sleeping issue for myself and I found myself watching The Crown until 3:15 am ;(
