Victoria Day

Holiday Monday was overcast, dreary and windy. Please rain if your going to be miserable. About 11 though it was time to venture out, Sheldon power washed the new wheels (and older bison head) while I planted my new peony and about 30 tulip bulbs. Guess it was perfect weather for that right? And I threw the horse some hay to help keep warm on this chilly 6 day. Britt was up by noon, suffering a terrible sounding voice and pink eye but took us for a ride in the "fireball". Old school is new school for her.

Gerry, old Sunshine worker stopped out around 2 to pick up Pap's bison burger. Of course this required a truck tour and beer visit. I was out polying the yellow pieces and then got first coat of the stand for Grama going on in primer red.

I eventually came into join the beer crew at 4 and while the visiting ensued, cooked up a bison spaghetti dish for supper. Britt went out and rode inside and fed bird too. Gerry loaded burger and was off around 7 and Britt ran to the gym. I painted the tops of the little table before Sheldon recruited me to come help pick up the seeder. Once back he got busy getting it ready to roll but there was a bit of an issue with the ton grain bag and gravity so I walked the dogs a quick short walk then came in as it was now 10 and finished painting/pewtering the 3 feet on the round table. Using his "energy" he shoveled most of it up and got the grass added so seeder all ready to go. He is going to take vacation and put it in tomorrow.

going good till hopper full then the string closure system was of no help...DAM!

But the best laugh of the last few days is Asher's preK class photo!! This is epic!
