dressers staged

Tuesday sunny but wind.. sheesh. I made coffee early as Britt was off to work after 9. I rousted Shaina just before 10 and she did come out to see Baby after I gave her her meds. Shaina enjoyed coffee too before heading to her 11 am shift.

She kindly helped me move the white dresser into place to stage after I had done the green. Thanks Shaina, now I can finish up the contest blog for the white one!

The next projects on the paint line were a tall nightstand and the cedar chest, both well loved pieces..I never understand how people can damage furniture like they do ;(

The chest got a good wipe vs full scrub due to its press board composition and the nightstand got it complete scrub after sanding top down. Once dry the chest edges got remade with spackle and the sanded nightstand top got a poly coat to seal the wood again.

Just when I thought I had the club insurance sorted they needed yet another form filled out, well hope this has it. More work on the clothing order too. Britt was home after 3, she went out to ride and feed Bird in the crappy but now at least sunny day. It hit only 12 today and they say next few cool if not colder. Sheldon not having a car pool drop off to do was home just after 4:30. I was busy painting the nightstand in my latest CeCe Caldwell paint challenge.. Las Vegas Fushia

Britt could not stick around for supper as she had to head off to ball but ate once back home later in the evening. We had yet another landscaper come out to survey for a quote, hopefully this will get underway soon. It was then hot bath and hockey.
